Mitch Ely has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer for Access Group International. In this role, Mitch will lead all operational disciplines for Access Group, both nationally and internationally while implementing and driving business excellence in line with Access Group’s strategic vision and values for future growth. Mitch will assume responsibility of his new role effective immediately and will be based at Access Group International head office in Perth, Australia.
Mitch has previously held senior leadership positions within the manufacturing industry, playing key roles in the development of Australian safety standards for elevating work platforms and telehandlers and the expansion of the largest equipment manufacturer into the Asia Pacific region.

Mitch will continue to push Access Group safety and business improvement initiatives and play an active role in developing a robust sales and distribution strategy to advance the business into the future. He aspires to deliver operational excellence to customers using Access Group initiatives and applying commercial excellence across all facets of the business, including its international divisions.
Access Group has several trading entities in Australia providing hire, sale, servicing, transport, and training as part of its service delivery. Internationally, it has bases in the Middle East, United Kingdom, China, USA, and Malaysia and its operating entities also undertake work in New Zealand, Singapore, Africa, India, and Russia.
