Pilbara – Brockman 4 Iron Ore Mine
Hamersely Iron is developing the Brockman 4 Iron Ore deposit. Construction work has commenced and commissioning is expected in 2010. Full capacity of 22 Mt/a is expected to be reached in 2012. Additionally Hamersely Iron is well advanced in its construction work to expand the capacity of its port facilities at Dampier Port from 120 Mt/a to 145 Mt/a.
This work included installation of a new car dumper, screen house and related facilities.
